WA’s new flagship to jazz – The Western Australian Jazz Project – will bring excitement and wonder to the CBD this festive season, with their debut Christmas Concert.
The band of 17 internationally acclaimed musicians will fill Perth Concert Hall for “A Very Jazzy Christmas”, performing a stunning rendition of Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite, as well as some of the world’s most beloved Christmas songs. Drawing on the nostalgia and anticipation of Christmas in the city and adding a contemporary twist to traditional festive songs, the concert will be unlike anything Perth has ever seen before.
The audience will also be blown away by a dazzling performance from musical theatre legend John James O'Hara… who is flying into town for WAJP’s first live performance.
