Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) Recitals are an opportunity for musicians to make their own personal musical statement, through performance, repertoire and presentation. This year, some of West Australia-based musicians are performing in their home state for ANAM’s Perth audience.
Initially a clarinettist until the end of 2016, Adrian had the opportunity to make the permanent switch from clarinet to the violin in 2017, commencing the first year of his undergraduate degree at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). He has since participated in the Australian Youth Orchestra’s National Music Camp, and Orchestral Seasons, and performed with many ensembles in Perth, such as the Perth Symphony Orchestra, the Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, and the St. Georges String Quartet as a violist from 2019-2020. He has enjoyed various masterclasses with the quartet, having worked with the Australian Brandenburg Quartet and the Australian String Quartet. In 2021, Adrian commenced his studies at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) under the tutelage of Zoë Black.
