We see signs and symbols every day in the world around us like stop signs, emojis and emoticons. Have fun learning how to use these symbols to create an artwork that communicates a powerful message for change and learn the fundamentals of good design.
Inspired by the change makers of Women Who Dare, use paper, ink and stamping to make a boldly coloured Art poster that makes a statement.
Matthew Newkirk is a PhD candidate at the Queensland College of Art and an artist whose practice often exposes the world’s injustices.
