Bastille Day French Festival

Escape to France, right here in the heart of Melbourne as the Bastille Day French Festival, presented by Peugeot, brings the joie de vivre to Melbourne this winter. A free community event full of French culture, music, food, history, art and fashion, the Festival will transform Fed Square with the spirit of the French Revolution.

If you are keen to sample mouth-watering French food, wine and entertainment, don’t miss this Festival! Explore the French Winter Market featuring Melbourne’s best French stalls selling mulled wine, crepes, croissants, pastries, cheese and Armagnacs! Learn more about French culture as you dive into our series of Les Lumieres Talks and Masterclasses discussing history, art, wine, culture and sustainability. You’ll also be able to watch some short films on the Plaza screen, as well as enjoy the roaming performers and music. Put on your beret, practice your ‘bonjour’ and join us at the Bastille Day French Festival to celebrate the French National Day.
