With their unique act they perform for the Docklands Blues festival in Melbourne, Blues at Bridgetown in Western Australia to the Echuca Winter Blues Festival, the Northern Beaches Festival and regularly for the Sydney Blues and Roots Festival in Windsor.
This year their debut Album "Fake It 'till You Make It" was released & premiered at the Australian Blues Festival in Goulburn and Nth Queensland for the Agnes Water Blues, Roots and Rock Festival followed by the Kiama Jazz and Blues Festivals in NSW.

Bonnie Kay and the Bonafides are an original blues and roots/soul/jazz country band. Their debut album went to the top ten in the Australian Blues and Roots charts for three months & is still in the top 20

Bonnie Kay, a contemporary American singer/songwriter from Philadelphia landed in Australia via Tokyo & uses acoustic, finger-picking, slide-guitar techniques, plus a voice reminiscent of blues icon Bonnie Raitt to deliver her own red-hot, sexy sound.
