Boroondara Arts Community Exhibitions

Boroondara Arts’ Town Hall Gallery Community Exhibitions Program allows local and emerging artists to exhibit their work for free in a professional exhibition space. Select work by local artists will be showcased for four-six weeks in the Town Hall Gallery, with up to 12 exhibitions shown per year.

The program highlights works by local artists; including the famed Michael Meszaros and the Canterbury Community Centre, plus collaborations by Amanda Lazar, Joy Mackey, Katherine Oleinikov and Lauren Ottaway.

Over the last decade, the Community Exhibitions Program has showcased almost 2,000 artworks by over 450 artists. By supporting these local creatives, the program has helped to facilitate over $85,000 of art sales back to the artists of Boroondara and thanks to the generosity of these artists, the program has facilitated donations of over $5,000 to local charities and organisations.
