David Helfgott In Concert

David Helfgott is one of the most instantly recognisable classical music artists in the world today. In a very special Canberra Theatre Centre appearance he gives his world-famous performances of works by Chopin, Liszt and Beethoven.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Academy Award-winning, Australian film, “Shine”, which was nominated for an astonishing seven Academy Awards, The 74-year-old is a national treasure, awarded an Order of Australia Medal for his service to the performing arts, following a career spanning seven decades.

After Having performed at prestigious venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall this is Canberra’s chance to witness this amazing talent live in concert.
