Description: Sticky Notes is a live musical performance and activation by Ensemble Offspring with original vibrant scores by Ciaran Frame and supported by the City of Sydney. The roaming Ensemble Offspring musicians will present half hour performances for flexible moving audiences, several times a day for 5 days, activating the forecourt of Customs House (Circular Quay), the internal Customs House Library and the beautiful new laneway behind Customs House. Graphic scores will be communicated to performers and audience alike in the form of large, colourful non slip decals designed by ex-Hatched Academy composer Ciaran Frame. These will be stuck to the ground and will remain as artworks when the musicians and audiences depart each day.

Ensemble Offspring’s versatile performers will roam and play the original Sticky Notes scores with various combinations of soloists, sometimes coming together as a large group with a range of unique instruments including euphonium, waterphone, piccolo and bass clarinet. Each performance will be 30 minutes in duration and audience members are encouraged to register for the session they would like to attend. There is however no limit on numbers so please bring your friends and family and help us reignite the centre of Sydney this June with live music!

NB: If you are musically inclined vocal participation is also encouraged – please get in touch if you’d like to take part in our Saturday 2pm session at

Thursday 2pm will be opened up to school groups. If you would like to bring your primary school class or music class then please email
