Two of Perth’s most outstanding musical groups come together to celebrate their 60th anniversaries, with a concert of exhilarating music for choir and brass.

The Perth Undergraduate Choral Society and WA Brass are proud to present “Glorious! A Choral and Brass Celebration”. This concert will include such well-loved favourites as Charles Parry’s I Was Glad (which was performed at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton) and the John Rutter Gloria, as well as lesser-known and equally brilliant works such as Lili Boulanger’s Psalm 24, and the dramatic work An Age of Kings by Edward Gregson. This work depicts the political turmoil in the British monarchy from the death of Henry V to the death of Richard III, and features offstage trumpets, brass fanfares and sombre choral chants. In addition, PUCS will present two a cappella works - Eleanor Daley’s moving In Remembrance and Arvo Pärt’s hauntingly beautiful Magnificat.
Please join us at Wesley Church, in Perth for an afternoon/evening of music that will uplift your soul! Tickets are available at trybooking.
