Southern Cross Soloists welcome back international coloratura soprano soloist Alexandra Flood in a program of vocal splendour and virtuosic brilliance. From Handel’s dramatic Cleopatra’s aria to Mahler’s sumptuous 4th symphony finale based on his song The Heavenly Life with solo soprano, the program promises to both thrill and pull on the heart strings.

Also featuring Mozart’s C minor piano concerto so admired by other master composers as an unmatchable masterpiece of art and one of the clarinet’s most dazzling virtuoso works, the Weber Clarinet Concerto No 1, the program concludes with brilliance and vocal fireworks in Bellini’s exhilarating aria Ah, non credea mirarti... Ah! non giunge.
