Love & Lounge: Valentine's Day Event

Darling Quarter is bringing the romance this Valentine’s Day with its outdoor picnic event, Love & Lounge.

This Valentine’s Day, lovers and friends alike can celebrate at Darling Quarter with booze, beats and delectable dining options. Couples and groups can reserve space at the North Village Greens for a picnic set to the sounds of live performance artists at one of two three-hour sessions, running from 12 PM until 3 PM and 4 PM until 7 PM.

Adelaide Dias, Marketing Manager of Darling Quarter, said “After getting off to a bit of a rocky start to 2021, we’re so looking forward to celebrating Valentine’s Day with the people of Sydney.
“Our Love & Lounge event will let couples, families and friends sit back and relax as they enjoy delicious food, live music and perhaps a few drinks – right in the heart of Darling Harbour.”

Attendees will be able to scan a QR code unique to their designated picnic area and order lunch, dinner or snacks from venues including Braza Churrascaria, Vesta Italian, Nok Nok Thai and Guylian. A cash bar will also be available on site so guests aged over 18 can indulge in alcoholic beverages of their choice.

Thanks to Six8, Love & Lounge will host two performances from local music duos to set the scene for a romantic afternoon. Sarah Davies will play the first session, while husband-and-wife team Goldfynch will take the second. Both groups boast many accolades within the Australian and International music scene and will provide soulful, soothing sounds for audiences.
