Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival - Day 2

The Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival will officially return in 2021. For the first time in 42 years, the event will be held across two days in summer.

On Sunday 12th December distances include the Nike Half Marathon, Nike Wheelchair Marathon and Nike Melbourne Marathon. Starting on Batman Avenue, approximately 150m North of Rod Laver Arena and an hour earlier to accommodate for the warmer weather.

As always, the course features some of the city’s most loved landmarks and finishes at the iconic MCG. The Festival welcomes all ages and abilities. Whether you’ve running your first 5km or looking to smash a marathon personal best, there’s a distance for everyone!

The 2019 Melbourne Marathon helped raise over $1,200,000 for various charities, and this year participants are again encouraged to raise money for the official charity partner, Cerebral Palsy Education Centre, and associate charities: JMB Foundation, Australian Red Cross, the Heart Foundation, and Very Special Kids, as well as other causes close to entrant’s hearts.
