Përolas

Melbourne-based project Përolas will bring their unique sound to the Hawthorn Arts Centre on Friday 16 April, featuring Liana Perillo on harps and vocals, Fabian Aravelés on guitar, trumpet and synthesiser and Louis Spencely on live and electronic drums.

From up-tempo beats to ethereal soundscapes, Përolas bring a unique and intriguing essence through their original compositions and musical arrangements, earning the award for Best Intercultural Act at the 2019 Music Victoria Awards.

Përolas were composing, recording and producing music at their home studio during 2020, and were commissioned to write a piece entitled ‘Time Traveller’ for Melbourne Metro Tunnel, which was exhibited in the heart of the CBD during Melbourne Music Week which extended into 2021.
