A Musical Soirée from Paris to Berlin.

Set in the decadent cabaret room of Claire's Kitchen at le Salon is a beautifully rendered musical biography rich in satire and sophisticated sexuality performed by international cabaret sensation Nikki Nouveau who sings a stunning repertoire of classic songs and narrates the story of legendary Parisian artist Edith Piaf and Berlin screen legend Marlene Dietrich.

From wildly different backgrounds and experiences, the divas, Piaf and Dietrich, forged a remarkable and compelling lifelong friendship after first meeting in New York. Nikki takes the audience on a musical journey of the 1940s, playing hits of the Grand Dames, with piano and accordion accompaniment by local jazz artist Andrew Scott.

Sung in French, German and English you are transported to a bygone era.

"Nouveau in full voice is mesmerising and her phrasing between singing and narrating is flawless. Nikki Nouveau is the epitome of class and reinvention"- Theatre People (5 Stars - Melbourne Cabaret Festival)

“An authentic musical experience which drips with talent and skill” – Alt Media

“Nouveau demonstrated the very best of cabaret with style and grace… She commanded both French and English perfectly to share her well-crafted story about her French idol" – Cabaret Scenes Magazine

The cabaret room capacity is now only 40 guests to adhere to the Covid 19 personal distancing rules

Anyone entering the premises must provide their name and contact details, including a telephone number or email address.
