Picnic Social - Tornado Wallace, Ben Fester, Lauren Hansom

We were so thankful to get started at our new weekly digs, Kings Cross Hotel, last Sunday. It's got all the potential to feel just like home... If your home had a sick rooftop, a very sexy bordello with lots of naughty corners, and a smoke machine.

Speaking of naughty we thought it'd be a sin to not return for week two with some very special friends.

It’s no secret that we here at Picnic are big fans of Tornado Wallace and with his sold-out One Night Stand happening on Saturday, we couldn’t resist asking him to join us for round two. The alter ego of Lewie Day, Tornado Wallace has had us dancing up a storm over the past decade. From his first One Night Stand back in 2011 to our Maximum Joy festival and now, to Picnic Social, Lewie never fails to get the party started.

The good times roll on with another who needs zero introduction around these parts, Ben Fester. His taste in the music and the way he plays it has had us dancing for the better part of the decade. Over the years he’s opened for the likes of Ben UFO, Moodymann, Floating Points and Omar-S, and he’s always in danger of outclassing the headline act.

Rounding out the party is the one and only, Lauren Hansom. She's spent years honing her craft, playing some of the world's top festivals, clubs and radio stations, like Panorama Bar, Red Light Radio and Kala. She’s known for digging up 12-inch treasures most can only dream of finding and we can’t wait to hear what she’s got in her record bag this Sunday.
