Poolwerx Moggill Marathon

Join us on Sunday 8 August 2021 & complete either a half marathon, 10km, 5km or 2km route.

The routes will take in the beautiful scenery of the Moggill area, located in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane and provide a unique, rural and challenging run.

This is a whole community fun-run event that was first instigated in 2020 by local Moggill residents David Ember and Emil Schoeman after the Brisbane Marathon was cancelled. They created their own marathon around the hills of Moggill starting and finishing at Westaway Park.

An initiative of the Moggill/Mt Crosby Lions Club, the inaugural event will become an annual fixture supporting local community groups and childhood cancer-based charities.
