You may have spotted the adorable joeys peeping out of their mum's pouches throughout winter and come spring, they are ready to hop out into the big wide world.
Join us as we welcome the newest generation of Quokkas with activities and special offers all September long, including the highlight event of the festivities - the Quokka Birthday Party on Sunday 19 September.
All events are free to attend, but registration is required.

- Learn about the behaviour and habits of the Quokkas and other Rottnest Island wildlife
Quokka Photography Workshops
Wednesday 8 and 22 September, 12noon to 2pm, Picture Hall
Saturday 25 September, 12 noon to 4pm, depart from outside Visitor Centre
- Presented by Alex Cearns, professional animal photographer
-Learn how to take the perfect quokka photo and interact with wildlife safely
- photo walk to put new skills into practice
Quokka Spotting & Beach Bonfire
Saturday 18 September
5:30pm to 7:30pm
North Thomson Bay beach
- 45-minute Quokka Spotting tour at dusk
- Two tours, departing at 5:45pm and 6:45pm
- Bonfire and marshmallow toasting
- Bring along a takeaway meal from one of the Island’s cafés or restaurants
