Summer is finally here and with it comes one of our ever-popular Twilight Evenings. On the evening of 2nd of December, we will be staying open late to give you an extra opportunity to experience Salon des Refusés 2021, a stunning, and often controversial, display of Australian contemporary portraiture and landscapes.

Join us from 5-7:30PM (last entry at 7PM) to view this exhibition of over 40 works entered into the Archibald and Wynne prizes, with incredible pieces by artists such as Rhoda Tjitayi, Craig Handley, Reg Mombassa, Sally Robinson, Katherine Edney, Robyn Sweaney, and Wendy Sharpe.

There will also be two sets of exquisite French Classical music (as well as a few Christmas tunes) by Adelaide String Duo, the first at 5:30, the second at 6:30pm. Delicious ice cream will be available in the forecourt provided by the St Louis Ice Cream Cart, and a variety of drinks will also be available for purchase the event. Bring your friends and get in the festive spirit!

Doors open 5–7:30PM. Last entry 7PM. Tickets are available for pre-purchase or on the door for $20 including a complimentary drink on arrival. Children under 12 free. Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase for consumption in the forecourt and Roman room.
