In this spoken word workshop participants will explore poetry as a form of uprising and resistance.

Facilitated by poet Kaveh Akbari Arya, this workshop will encourage you to delve deep inside yourself to find your own revolution and give life to that revolution through poetry/spoken word.

Examining the difference between ‘pop’ poetry and poetry that is uncompromised and fearless, Kaveh will lead you through a reflective and empowering process to shape your own truth.

No writing or performance experience needed. Recommended for ages 15+
