St George's Art returns to the Cathedral this year, bringing innovative works from WA's senior high school students.

From 17 to 25 July, works by students from more than 50 WA schools will be displayed along the aisles of St George's Cathedral. The exhibition is in its 18th year, missing last year due to the pandemic. Its return to St George's Cathedral in 2021 is an exciting prospect, after the 2019 exhibition saw a record 173 artworks on display.

After more than a year of global upheaval, the Cathedral expects to be providing a fascinating insight into the impact this has had on today's teens, along with a range of issues unique to their generation.
The students' works will be professionally curated and photographed for the souvenir catalogue, and prizes awarded by a panel of expert judges. There is no charge for exhibitors, ensuring all young artists are able to participate, from all educational sectors. At the Gala Awards Night on 22 July, prizes will be awarded to selected works in four categories.

Entry to the exhibition is by gold coin donation, and visitors can purchase the catalogue for $15.00 to add their vote for the People’s Choice prize awarded at the close of the exhibition.
