Things to do around Suffolk Park, Byron Bay! If you are local or near Suffolk Park, and have an interest in all things to do with sustainable living, and building resilience, then 2021 is devoted to fascinating workshops on 7 interconnected areas. This is the award-winning 'Resilient Communities' program that is designed for us to adapt, discuss and act on how we can take practical steps at home, in the neighbourhood and as a community. Topics are as broad as the environment, food security, health, infrastructure, fire and ecosystem, water, and even looking at what economics means to us in the local economy.
You can go a light as taking first steps or finding out more... or as deep as finding out how to become fire ready, flood ready so that Suffolk Park is working preventively before natural disasters hit.
Join in via the link as we kick off Sunday 18th July. Use the link comments to ask anything you would like to about the program: https://fb.me/e/1CR787ca1
Your awesome facilitators are Brett, Leone and Susan!
Resilient Byron and OzGreen are the awesome leader charities putting this on throughout the Byron Shire.
We are volunteers and locals, but funding for essentials has been generously provided by NRCF [Northern Rivers Community Foundation] Byron Bay 2481, New South Wales, Australia.
