Once in a lifetime a band emerges from nowhere to redefine the world's perception - of Celtic music. Murphy's Pigs is not that Band.

That is the catch cry that every celebrity who has ever seen Murphy’s Pigs have said, with their dis-endorsement of the band and believe us, there have been many. 2020 has been a tough year, so Murphy's Pigs wanted to kick off the year in 2021 with a bang. After Covid had stopped thier annual pilgrimage to Woodord to play in the community hall, the band wanted to come back to Woodford with some freinds to help kick off the year. 12 men dressed in suits singing Celtic songs and playing an array of instruments from the whistle to the bag pipes, and yes they even let John play the banjo (at times,) is not enough.

Throw in some dancers, they call the Piglets who apparently have won some awards for their Irish and Highland routines and you have Murphy’s Pigs. Melodic Celtic flute, alongside raw and rhythmic guitar are complimented with heart felt sounds of the Celtic world. Featuring a dynamic musical ensemble and impressive dancing rarely seen outside of the World Championship stage, Murphy’s Pigs are quickly on their way to becoming the new frontier in Celtic entertainment.
Joined on stage by Liam Kennedy-Clark, The Aussie Uke Show (Quartet) and Felicity Kircher this will be a lineup that is sure to help forget the woes of 2020 and start the new year off fresh.

With the bar opened and fundraising for the Woodford Ambulance Committee along with food and other beverage by the Wamuran Lions and the Woodford and Delaney's Creek Chaplaincy, food trucks and coffee vans, there will be something for everyone.

Bring a folding chair or a rug for a great outdoor celebration. This is a Covid Safe event so at this stage there is no dancing, and remember to keep your social distancing. Oh did we tell you there was onsite camping - contact the Woodford Show Society for that and get in quick.
