Over two extreme cathartic nights of big percussion, heavy noise, projections, pyrotechnics and rage tinctured sonic assault, Perth’s infamous Noise-Punk collective, Injured Ninja collaborate with Blazing Swan’s most notorious camp of shadow fringe dwellers, The Church of Belligerence to raise the Rechabite to fever pitch as the week of Art Feast – The Darkness, draws to a close.

Saturday, experience the latest incarnation of live multi-percussive dance ensemble, The Epic of Gilgamesh featuring original music performed by a cacophonous orchestra of live and electronic instrumentalists, accompanied by multiple drum kits and a fleet of percussionists. The performance surrounds and engulfs the audience with a wall of building sound, filling the space with raw energy. First manifested in 2009 as part of the closing program for a legendary local music venue, The Bakery, The Epic of Gilgamesh has returned from beyond only a few times since. This is set to be its largest and loudest reincarnation yet and will shake the century-old bones of The Rechabite to their foundations.
