John McNamara and Andrea Marr have both carved a niche for themselves on the international blues and soul scene with #1 charting albums here in Australia and in the US with their respective 2017 releases. The two powerhouse voices came together in May 2018 and took the blues world by storm, bringing Australia the true sound of Soulful Blues evoking the sounds of Stax and Motown with great original material. Winners of the 2018 ‘Blues Performer Of The Year’ award (solo/duo), they represented Australian Blues at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN in January 2019, reaching the semi-finals and then signing to legendary Memphis distribution label SelectOHits for their upcoming album due for worldwide release in July and will feature the cream of Memphis’ legendary players and arranged by Stax legend Lester Snell.
