The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's Symphony in the Sky

Join the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra as it plays its highest ever concert to celebrate the official completion of the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest residential tower – the colossal 319 metre Australia 108 super-skyscraper in Melbourne.

Playing a repertoire of sky-high scores reflective of the Orchestra’s lofty surrounds, the free ‘Symphony in the Sky’ event will be streamed by the MSO on its YouTube channel from 7:30 pm this Sunday 21 March.

The 40-minute recital will be the highest concert ever performed by the acclaimed orchestra in its 114-year history and will see musicians play simultaneously from a selection of spaces at Australia 108’s exclusive Star Club on levels 70 and 71 – perched 210 metres above the ground.
