Samford Edible Garden Trail is ON in the gorgeous Samford Valley! Join us on Sunday, May 16, 2021! We are opening the gates to a selection of our most inspiring private and community edible gardens for a day of sharing and inspiration!

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube, we also have a bunch of virtual tours!

These are just some of the things you will see on the trail:

- A suburban back and front yard fully converted for food growing
- A permaculture garden focusing on perennial vegetables and fruits
- A 10 year old subtropical food forest
- An in-ground vegetable garden and orchard built entirely on a slope
A tree changers delightful cottage garden including raised beds, a subtropical orchard and herbal tea garden and of course... chickens.
- Asubtropical orchard with over 220 trees fruit trees and 80 bush tucker trees

Plus two of our local farmers show the amazing results they have achieved with their small scale diversified farms.

And did we mention aquaponics, wicking beds, and chickens that lay pink and blue eggs and much, much more!

Take a wander through any or all of the nine edible gardens open on Sunday, May 16. Your ticket covers entry to all of them!

To help you decide, more information on the Edible Garden Trail gardens will be available in the Trail Guide and on our website soon (but not just yet)

And there’s heaps more to do!

- Learn all about them and how to cook gourmet mushrooms with Madi Mushroom.
