On October 27th 2022, Zen Tea Lounge Foundation, a Sydney-based not-for-profit working to eliminate domestic violence in Australia, is hosting its annual 100 Women in Solidarity event at the Cabra-Vale Diggers Club.

Zen works tirelessly every day to support and improve the lives of survivors of domestic violence by helping them to overcome their emotional scars, which may last long after their physical wounds have healed. It has helped almost 20,000 survivors to overcome their trauma.

The 100 Women in Solidarity event will bring people together to share stories, acknowledge supporters and openly discuss the problem of domestic violence in our communities.

Event highlights include:
- Two-course sit-down meal
- Speed painting performance by Brad Blaze
- Japanse taiko drum performance by YuNiOn
- Harp performance by Michael Adams
- Simone O’Brien, domestic violence survivor, speaker and women’s safety advocate
- A panel discussion featuring:
Simone O’Brien
Kate Fylan, Program Manager Family Safety, Relationships Australia NSW
Dinh Tran, Senior Judicial Registrar of the Family Court and Federal Circuit Court of Australia
Vi Nguyen, Counsellor, Odyssey House Multicultural
- A special tribute to victims of domestic violence who lost their lives in the past 12 months
- MC and TV/radio presenter Davey Nguyen
- Fundraising raffle, including an annual family membership for Sydney Zoo worth $300

Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at this link [https://events.humanitix.com/100-women-in-solidarity-2022/tickets], with all profits going towards supporting Zen’s cafe and programs. Corporates can purchase tickets for $90, which helps to subsidise the general admission cost.

For those unable to attend but who would still like to show their support for Zen Tea Lounge Foundation and the survivors it supports, a donation can be made here: https://www.zentealoungefoundation.org.au/donate
