The 4MBS Radio Course is designed to allow participants* to receive personalised and comprehensive instruction in order to:
- Gain an understanding of the role of Community Radio in society;
- Understand the day-to-day operation of 4MBS and associated stations;
- Learn and practise the fundamentals of announcing on air, with particular reference to understanding “target” audiences;
-Learn and practise the art of choosing music for on-air programs and scripting a program for air-play; and,
- Produce a program of music and accompanying script to an “on-air” standard.

This course will be spread over three days. Day 1 will cover various theory and related topics, and Days 2 and part of Day 3 will be given to practical completion of the task and a final review of the work done.

With small groups and experienced presenters, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
