Advanced Anatomy for Yoga Teaching 50hr Content
The addition of sound anatomy knowledge to the modern teaching of asana is one of the greatest tools a yoga teacher can have. By understanding the mechanics of the human body as yoga teachers we have the ability to help unlock postures for students, increase their strength, flexibility and overall health, as well as keeping them safe through an understanding of biomechanics and their applications.

Whether your teacher training had no anatomy at all, or whether you're simply looking to take your anatomy to the next level, this module run by Senior Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Pilates teacher and dedicated student of yoga Mauricio Bara is sure to revise and present knowledge in a truly practical way.

Split into 4 simple modules, each day will begin with anatomy basics (structure, function and movement), before progressing into somatic exploration, practice observing and adjusting and then finish with opportunities to ask questions, practice cueing and hone new skills and knowledge.

Each module includes detailed seminars and discussion, combined with led classes, teaching practice and ample movement play so you can authentically integrate the concepts into your teachings through your own direct, embodied experience. Each participant will receive a detailed course manual.
