Album Launch One Woman One Day w/ special guest Jarrod Shaw

Australian singer, Christine Manetta launches her debut album ONE WOMAN ONE DAY, presenting the album with the full band.

Special Guest Jarrod Shaw - Soulful acoustic blues and roots performer.

Over the past few years, Christine collaborated with the pianist and artistic director Adam Rudegeair (Lake Minnetonka, The Bowie Project) to produce an eclectic album that draws on genres such as Contemporary Blues, Jazz intertwined with Afro-Beats and Hip-Hop Electronica, with touches of Christine’s own Euro-Egyptian heritage in the mix. The album explores and illuminates the themes of adversity, determination and empowerment that are articulated through the celebration of women and motherhood.

Emerging in 2021 as a dynamic Songwriter with songs from the Album being shortlisted in four categories in the 2021 Australian Songwriters Association Contest, Christine reminds us that age is no barrier in the pursuit of creative truths.

After five years of directing, producing and performing in Love Me or Leave Me-A Tribute to Nina Simone, a critically acclaimed show about one of her greatest artistic influences, Christine decided it was time to tell her own stories.
