Algalrhythms Opening & Artist Talk By Svenja

Held in conjunction with exhibition ‘Algalrhythms’ on view from 17 March – 14 April 2022.

Join us at the Gympie Regional Gallery for Svenja's exhibition opening and artist talk on Saturday 19 March at 1pm.

Algalrhythms is a body of new work resulting from Svenja’s five-week residency spent studying the shoreline of King Island in December, 2019. Her first solo exhibition, it also marks a dramatic shift in her practice from a decade working in wearable art, to creating low-relief sculptural panels using textiles, paintings, and digital and lino prints.
