Did you know that there were also ANZACs who served in Vietnam?

One of those was Peter Ramsay BEM (Mil) a veteran from the New Zealand Defence Force, President of the Friends of ANZAC Cottage and ex-President of the Vietnam Veterans of Australia (WA Branch).

Although Peter has long retired from the military he retains a strong interest and support of his fellow ANZAC veterans. One of his recent projects was recording an audio version of a book, A Soldier’s View of the Vietnam War-The Story of Victor Coy V Company 6 RAR/NZ (ANZAC) Battalion.

On 14 August the Friends of ANZAC Cottage, with the support of the National Trust of Western Australia, will host Peter as he recounts the process of converting the written word to audio. He will also share some of his experiences from that conflict.

As ANZAC Cottage is limited in space, bookings are essential. You are welcome to book in to hear Peter’s story and tour the cottage either from 2.00–3.00 pm 3.00–4.00 pm.
