The Friends of ANZAC Cottage is proud to conduct its annual ANZAC Day commemorations on Monday, April 25 at the Cottage from 3.30pm to 6.00pm.

ANZAC Cottage, which was inspired by the actions at Gallipoli, is a perfect place for the public to pay its respects to those who have served Australia in many conflicts and in so many roles.

The day’s activities will include a free poppy making workshop for children, tours of the cottage, the Field of Remembrance and the popular Sunset Service which will begin at 5.15pm.

The “NZ” in ANZAC will be acknowledged with a performance from the wonderful Ngaru Pou Maori Cultural Group as we pay tribute to our comrades ‘across the ditch’.

ANZAC Cottage is situated at 38 Kalgoorlie Street, Mount Hawthorn and entry is free on this occasion. Due to COVID guidelines, booking is essential and can be made through the Eventbrite link above (see website section) or by calling Anne on 0411 44 55 82 or by emailing friendsofanzaccottage@gmail.com.

The Friends of ANZAC Cottage acknowledges the support and encouragement of the National Trust of Western Australia. ANZAC Cottage is managed by the National Trust on behalf of the community and the Government of Western Australia.
