Come to the Warburton Waterwheel Gallery and see the stunning world of “Colour” by Visnu, presented in digital prints of her photography, acrylic paintings on canvas, and embroidered versions of her artwork hand crafted in India.

Visnu was born Brigitte Mohrenberger in Vienna, Austria, immigrating to Australia with her family when she was just 18 months old. Creative from an early age, Visnu was not daunted by her poor eyesight but learned instead to more carefully observe the world around her. Her introduction to the Hare Krishnas in the early 80s profoundly changed her world, with her ongoing study and practice of the faith bringing her peace, clarity and colour where previously there had only been black and white. Her world now overflows with the magical, healing gift of colour, beautifully evidenced in this first exhibition of her artwork.
