Discovery Holiday Program

The Discovery Program offers a fun and interactive space where kids learn healthy coping strategies to support their mental health better.

Delivered in small group settings, kids learn how to regulate big emotions, manage anxiety and build confidence, and practice regulation strategies and so much more.

Program:

Emotions
Kids have a go at understanding, articulating and regulating the many emotions they feel.
This is the first step in managing your emotions.

Responding To Emotional Triggers
Understand the Zones of Regulation.
Discover how your feelings impact your decisions and actions and what to do when you feel overwhelmed.

Responding to Triggers
Learn regulation strategies that can be used in heightened situations.
These strategies help children who become overwhelmed or feel anxious.

Explore Anxiety
Uncover what makes us anxious and ways to manage our anxiety. Kids have a go at learning healthy coping strategies.

Celebrate Me!
Uncover all the reasons that you are special. This week is aimed at building confidence by identifying our strengths.

Healthy Coping Strategies
Learning evidence-based healthy coping strategies can assist kids to regulate their emotions in intense situations.
