Djindoon Djenung: stories and stargazing at Yagan Square

Yagan Square will be hosting the ultimate evening of Dreamtime storytelling and stargazing, completely free of charge.

Award-winning, renowned Noongar guide Walter McGuire of Go Cultural Aboriginal Tours and Experiences will take guests through the 90 minute magical experience at Goologoolup (Yagan Square), from 7.00pm.

Experience a Welcome to Country, hear Noongar-Bibbulmun Dreamtime stories passed down through countless generations, and tales of post-colonial life in Perth. You will also enjoy traditional dance and songs with Djoogan Keeninyirra.

The evening concludes with a Smoking Ceremony, said to bring healing and connection to country. Brought to you in partnership with DevelopmentWA, Tourism WA and the City of Perth, this event is free but places are limited. Registration is essential.
