Dylan: The Hits - Presented by The Album Show

There are few songwriters in music history that can lay claim to being as culturally important, and musically influential as Bob Dylan. Since the early 60’s his writing, and records have remained important marker points, not only with his deep and prolific catalogue, but with bona fide hits for over 5 decades.

The Album Show decided to focus on a facet of the legend’s catalogue that is not always considered – that being, the amount of hit singles he had, either as an artists, or as the writer for many many other artists.

The Album Show’s “Dylan: The Hits” show gathers some of our favourite performers for a joyous celebration of the very best of Dylan. With a 6 piece band, starring Amy Vee on vocals, guitar and keyboards, Album Show leader Michael Carpenter on guitars, Charlie Lee on bass, Rod Auld on lead guitars and Fab Omodei on drums, this top shelf ensemble presents Dylan’s songs, as recorded by Olivia Newton-John, The Byrds, Adele, Manfred Mann, and many others, including Dylan himself. This show has proven to be a surprisingly joyous experience, with a full set of material that has been loved for generations, and stories tying together the history of this influential icon’s career.
