Eric Alexander New York Saxophone Star (USA)

Heavy-weight post-bop Tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander is set to perform at The Brass Monkey in this one-off event accompanied by Ray Beadle (Guitar), Andrew Dickeson (drums) and Jonathan Zwartz (bass).

Eric Alexander has been at the forefront of contemporary jazz as a band leader and distinguished soloist since the early1990s when he released his first recording ‘Straight Up’ (Delmark 1992), Since then, his thrilling lines and beautiful warm tone have captivated jazz fans in North America, Europe and Asia. Eric Alexander is no stranger to Sydney audiences as he’s been a featured artist in several Manly Jazz Festival programmes.

This will be Eric’s first time performing at The Brass Monkey and the only Australian show with this line up of Ray Beadle, Andrew Dickeson and Jonathan Zwartz – a very special experience not to be missed!
