Linden New Art is proud to present Labour Lexica, a curated exhibition featuring the work of local emerging artists Maki Morita, Luce Nguyễn-Hunt and Lachlan Marley. For the exhibition, each artist was tasked with the challenge of producing an artistic response to the precarity of labour and its cultural entanglement with language. The result is Labour Lexica, a diverse and incisive triptych of creative interventions that sees each artist offer a unique critique probing the politics and aesthetics of ‘work’ within the conditions of contemporary neoliberal capitalism. Curated by Ada Coxall, Coral Guan and Sebastian Kainey, Labour Lexica is a collective address towards speculative futures, presenting a polemic and complex show that veers awat from solution-oriented inquiry.

Come join us for the opening of Labour Lexica
ON Thursday 17 November 2022, 6PM to 8PM
At Linden Projects Space, Rear 26 Acland Street, St Kilda
Exhibition Continues until Sunday 18 December 2022
