After selling out the first two editions, the Fairbridge Craft Retreat is back.

Presented by CAHRS & Canning Show, whether you’re a craft connoisseur or wanting to have a distracting dabble in the arts, this is a getaway is one all manner of crafters will appreciate.

Taking place in the idyllic Fairbridge Village in Pinjarra, 9-11 September, this weekend features a mix of instructed workshops, facilitated activities and open time to discover and invigorate your creative flair at your own leisure. Choose your own path of learning, exploration, practising and/or sharing, plus enjoy a ‘yarn’ with like-minded future friends you’ll really ‘glue’ with.

Accommodation, workshops, lunch and dinner etc will be included, enabling you to savour a weekend filled with equal parts inspiration and exhalation.

TICKETS INCLUSIVE OF:

- 2-nights of accommodation at the beautiful Fairbridge Village. Please note: Sleeping arrangements will be in a single bed, shared-room accommodation with another person if have you have preferred
roomies we will arrange to place you together (make a note of this when purchasing ticket)

- Lunch and dinner provided. Dietary requests catered for (please advise when booking ticket)

- Crafting & creative workshops, with basic materials provided where necessary

- Light activities including nature walks, yoga, happy hour etc

- There will be an embroiderer machine if you would like to utilise it over the weekend

WORKSHOPS:

1. MACHINE SEWING & EMBROIDERY: Create, sew, and embroider your own insulated double oven mitt.

2. MACRAME PLANT HOLDER: Knot together the perfect art piece to hold your favourite plant.

3. CROCHET CORNER: For the newbies, learn how to make a granny square. For Intermediate crocheters, learn to make a Fish Fillagree granny square.

4. DRAWING: BOTANICAL ILLUSTRATION: Learn the techniques to produce botanical illustrations, used to identify all parts of plants. If the weather is kind, we will go for a discovery bush walk to find different plant species to depict.

5. RECYCLED DECORATIVE CRAFTING: Get a headstart in creating Xmas decorations that will make Santa Claus' eyes pop.

6. IYENGAR YOGA: Basic intro to Iyengar Yoga, a style that doesn't discriminate in age or health, helping to improve your overall well-being, strength, posture, and more.

7. TEXTILES: DREAMCATCHER: Learn a variety of skills to make a beautiful decoration, and chase that perfect sleep!
