Family Fiesta is back for the school holidays with an exciting program filled with literature, art, workshops, performance, music, and more, taking place 29 June – 2 July at the Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts. Presented by Monash University Performing Arts Centres, children and families have the opportunity to experience a fun-filled world of reading, listening, sharing, learning and creative art projects. Tickets range from free - $15.
Literature readings with presentations, book signings and more from popular authors such as Peter Helliar and Cal Wilson.
Don’t miss the production of popular theatre show Grug and the Rainbow which sees our grassy little friend embark on an epic adventure to bask in the colours of the illusive rainbow.
Sensory Concerts with world-class musicians is an opportunity for those with sensory or special needs to enjoy the wonderful art of music.
The mobile MESS Workshop is a hands-on workshop enabling children to experience the art of electronic sound.
Inventi Ensemble, presenters of chamber music for children, will play an arrangement of The Planets.
FEAST by Polyglot Theatre invites children to fill their imaginations on creating the dishes of their dreams. Families can drop in at any time during the free sessions which lets children play with materials other than food to make truly delicious, and sometimes really horrible, culinary creations.
