The Day of the Dead is celebrated in style at Sydney's coastal Mexican restaurants, Alma Avalon and St Alma, Freshwater from Friday 4 November to Sunday 6 November.
An auspicious cocktail, Higher Spirits, is the order of the day. The concoction of Herradura Plata, Pink Grapefruit, Blood orange and Black Salt priced at $12 is guaranteed to keep spirits high.
Featuring curated playlists, traditional Mexican menus, and divine florals by Wild Forager and Haven and Sarah, the faithful will dine and drink in a festive atmosphere.
