FLAG DUTY
Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, indie-pop-rock four-piece Flag Duty have spent the last couple of years developing a colourful sound and establishing themselves as energetic and eccentric entertainers.
The band - singer Ben Hobart, bassist Tom Jolly, guitarist Abi Ashford and drummer Lachlan Barnard - draw on an eclectic mix of modern and nostalgic musical influences to create their genre-blending sound, combining the musical hooks of indie-rock with catchy pop melodies and honest lyricism.
With much more still in store, Flag Duty are an act to keep a close eye on in 2022 and beyond.
THE FUNNY JIMS
Combining jazz, pop, rock, and elements of hip hop, 'The Funny Jims' offer a unique take on contemporary music.
Whether this is the indie guitar lines similar to the likes of Spacey Jane and Boy Pablo, vocal melodies similar to Robert Smith, or the horn sections heavily inspired by groups like Earth Wind and Fire and Kool & the Gang, there is something for everyone amongst 'The Funny Jims' discography.
Originally forming for their high school battle of the bands in 2018, the group realised they had something special going on. 3 years later the band has self-produced a handful of EPs and have almost completed their debut album.
Their latest release 'Dying Together' brought further attention to the group including the likes of Hockey Dad who chose their track 'Outcry for Change' to be included in their Triple J Class of 2020
KATANAK

Expect bouncy, upbeat vocals, optimistic guitar and rhythmic indie-pop beats.
