Gitan Jazz Duo pay homage to the timeless music of Django Reinhardt at the Lyrebird Lounge.
Mixing a blistering cascade of arpeggios with the sounds of 1930’s Paris to forge their own style of progressive Gypsy Jazz. Founded in early 2022, the duo consists of Kyle Ross on lead guitar and Andy Fillmore on rhythm guitar.
Their repertoire combines jazz, swing, blues, and folk influences, while preserving their underlying Gypsy jazz style, which pays tribute to the sounds of famous guitarist Django Reinhardt.
