Greenwich Village Arts Trail

The artists of Greenwich are emerging from their covid cocoons to present “something for everyone” in their 10th Anniversary year - jewellers and children’s book illustrators, wood carvers and landscape photographers, printers and weavers, potters and sculptors, along with a plethora of fabulous painters working in acrylic, oil, watercolour, mixed media, encaustic, and ink - 32 of them will be displaying their artwork at the 2022 Greenwich Village Arts Trail.
The artists range from well-established professionals who have won prestigious prizes, to highly skilled hobbyists and talented newcomers presenting their art for the very first time. A number of the artists donate all or part of their proceeds to worthy causes such as Mahboba’s Promise (an Afghan charity for women), Mary’s Place (a women’s shelter), and Youth on the Street.
The Arts Trail is a fantastic day out for families, with cafes and picnic spots available all around the idyllic harbourside suburb.
Pick up a map from the local Greenwich shops, or online on the website, FB or Insta page to see more about the artists. You can follow the suggested walk on the map or catch the free shuttle bus from Greenwich wharf right up to the No.1 studio at the top of the suburb. On Sunday, the free bus even continues over to Riverview to join the Food & Wine By the River Festival.
Studios are easy to spot by the orange flags out the front and there is plenty of parking in the streets - or go green and catch the ferry, train or bus.
