We’ll show you around our 11 acre award-winning urban permaculture farm so you can see how we do it, and our immersive practical workshop, facilitated by expert permaculturalist Cal Champagne, will empower you to start growing your own fresh food straight way.
This hands-on workshop will teach you:
- How vegetables and herbs grow.
- How we can help vegetables and herbs grow without any chemical inputs.
- Tools and techniques for producing abundant crops.
- How to build healthy soils through composting, no-dig gardening, and other soil preparation techniques.
- Systems for designing crop rotation plans, and planting plans which follow the seasons.
- How to transplant seedlings or directly sow seeds into your prepared garden areas.
- How to prevent, look for and control pests and diseases that could impact your crops using natural methods.
- How to fertilise, irrigate and harvest your produce.
