Hobart Winter Ball Weekend

There's less than one week until the Hobart Winter Ball, Tasmania's premier Scottish event, kicks off! If you're not already a Scottish dancer then dancing at the Ball isn't an option but there's still plenty on offer.

Friday night is a guided tour through historic Runnymede, followed by supper.

Saturday's Ball is open to spectators and includes 4 hours of enjoying the fabulous music of Chris Duncan and Catherine Strutt (https://www.duncanandstrutt.com/) and the accompanying dancing by social dancers in their finery, two stylish displays, a sumptuous supper and a grand piper, all in Hobart Town Hall's magnificent ballroom - a spectacle indeed!

Sunday, come along to our picnic on the Richmond Green (inside if weather requires) for more live C & C music - join in if you're a musician or, if the dancing at the Ball inspired you, try your feet at an easy, called dance with our, tired but still enthusiastic, experienced dancers to help you through. All welcome to all of the above!
