Melbourne jazz institution the John Montesante Quintet (JMQ) kicks off its springtime season on Thursday, SEPT 1, featuring enchanting Jazz vocalist JACKIE BORNSTEIN and soulful saxophonist ANTON DELECCA at the warm and welcoming Golden Gate Hotel

Jackie:
Having performed Jazz in venues in Australia and abroad for more than two decades, Jackie has developed a particular talent for storytelling through song. Known for her richly toned vocals and ability to get to the heart of a tune, Jackie performs a beautiful repertoire of jazz and bossa nova tunes from across the globe - NOT to be missed!

Anton:
A key member of the Melbourne jazz and soul scene, Anton recently returned form 2 years in New York where he recorded his 5th album. Anton is always in-demand with bands locally including performing/recording for 13 years with the Bamboos. Known for his power, groove and passion, Anton always delivers a moving performance.

This week JMQ is Jackie Bornstein (voice), Michael Harding (piano), Ryan Menezes (drums), Anton Delecca (saxophone) Ben Robertson (double bass) & John Montesante (flugelhorn/ trumpet).
