The perfect outdoor event for families or picnicking with friends, visit a beautiful Yarra Valley orchard to pick your own juicy Kanzi apples straight from the tree.

To celebrate the start of the Kanzi apple season, Sanders Apples, a picture-perfect family-run orchard nestled in the stunning Yarra Valley, is opening its gates for apple picking this March.

Stroll through the rows of apple trees bursting with delicious ripe Kanzi apples, enjoy a picnic on the shady orchard lawns, or even take a scenic tractor ride through the orchard.

It’s a gorgeous way to spend the long weekend, perfect for a day out with friends or as a fun activity for the whole family. It doesn’t get any better than picking crunchy Kanzi apples straight from the trees.

Bags for apple picking are provided. Apart from delicious Kanzi apples, there is no food available for purchase at the orchard. Feel free to bring along a delicious picnic to enjoy on the orchard's shady lawns. Please do not bring in any fresh fruit or vegetables.

There’s no need to book for apple picking. Tickets can be purchased at the orchard. Pre-booking for the popular tractor rides is advised and can be done through the Sanders Apple website. Ample free parking is available at the orchard, which is just under 1.5 hours from Melbourne CBD.
