"A celebration of the love stories and friendships shared between Irish people and Aboriginal people in Western Australia."

After the highly successful inaugural festival in 2021, Kidogo Arthouse is proud to announce, “Hand in Hand Festival 2022” . This year’s festival will be a more intimate 2 day gathering and will not extend to the lawn or include projections on the Maritime Museum Wall. Instead, it will be held by the ocean on Kidogo’s beautiful deck and will include performances by David Milroy, Lucky Oceans, Patrick Woodley, Danilo da Paz, Wayne Freer, Adam Gare, Ciaran O’Sullivan, Kenneth Dawson, Bryan Rice Dalton, Kavisha Mazzella, John Reed, Brian Finnemore, Sharyn Egan, Fiona Rea, John Clare, Donough O’Donovan & Poetry by Máirtín Ó Dubhlaigh. It will also feature a unique Art Exhibition by two very important West Australian Artists, Kenneth Dawson (Gooniyandi) and Ilona McGuire (Whadjuk Nyoongar) as well as a projection wall featuring virtual performances by legendary Irish stars – Musician Luka Bloom & Poet Tony Curtis.
